Courts for all.

Staffordshire LTA work with the Lawn Tennis Association, the national governing body for tennis, across the county, to grow the sport creating opportunities at all levels and across all ages.

We’re proud to support the development of tennis from infants to juniors then adults and seniors – playing at all ages and having fun.

We’re a vital hub of knowledge and support the county’s clubs, coaches, and officials through grants and access to platforms and pathways to further their development.

We’re a community of tennis loving players and officials ourselves and are committed to ensuring that all we do is delivered in a safe and inclusive landscape for everyone to enjoy.

We celebrate, promote, and manage the county championships and support the senior and junior county coaching and teams across all ages in inter-county leagues, matches and tournaments.

We share a vision with all clubs in their quest to provide a fun and engaging environment for tennis.

We enjoy our engagement with inter-club leagues, local authorities, schools, and parks to deliver tennis across all communities.

We want to support the tennis workforce including coaches and officials by offering guidance and opportunities.

Safeguarding

Protection For All. The County Safeguarding Officer is responsible for assisting the LTA Safeguarding Team. Together, they promote and embed a culture of safeguarding, diversity, and inclusion in Staffordshire. The Safeguarding Officer assists in supporting registered venues to put in place procedures which safeguard children (under 18) and adults, as well as communicate with venue Welfare Officers at registered events.

County Tennis Programme Management

Creating an advantage. We plan and manage various key tennis programmes and activities to support the development of tennis, with the workforce of coaches to officials.

These programmes and activities include the county junior coaching and teams, open tennis teams, seniors’ tennis teams, county events and tournaments. We also support the pathways for creating coaches and officials. It’s a varied programme managed by professional coaches and educators, tournament referees and all supported by the LTA.
