Quarry Bank Tennis Club is proud to announce the resounding success of several recent events that have brought together the local community and showcased the vibrant tennis scene in the area.
In a bid to encourage young girls to take up tennis, Quarry Bank Tennis Club organized the Girl, Set, Match event on 18 May. This initiative welcomed 20 girls from schools in the local area, providing them with an opportunity to experience the sport in a supportive and engaging environment. The event was a tremendous success, inspiring and empowering the participants to pursue their passion for tennis.
Following this, the highly anticipated Family Tournament, held on Saturday 20 May, saw an impressive turnout of 25 pairs competing in a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship. The event not only showcased the talent within the club but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among participants and their families.
Furthermore, Quarry Bank Tennis Club continues to offer weekly coaching sessions for juniors and adults alike. These sessions, led by the experienced and LTA certified Prosser Tennis Academy, provide an excellent platform for players of all levels to improve their skills, meet fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy the sport.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response and the incredible success of our recent events,” said Stacey Billingham, Club Coach. “At Quarry Bank Tennis Club, we are committed to fostering a love for tennis within the community and providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to thrive. We look forward to continuing our mission and organising more exciting events in the future.”
